As of today (10/16/13), 10 people have taped max-outs of NES Tetris game. 2 more have taken pictures.
------------------------
Director Adam Cornelius met star/co-producer Robin Mihara at a retro gaming festival (PRGE) where the idea for Ecstasy of Order was born.
------------------------
The van that Robin drives in the film is actually owned by director Adam Cornelius and is named "Moses".
------------------------
One year after the filmed contest, "bubble boy" Alex Kerr shocked the world to finish in second place in the CTWC 2011. Quite the accomplishment for a young man who didn't even play NES Tetris seriously before the shooting of the film.
------------------------
At the 5:00 mark of the film, Koi Morris can be seen standing next to Ben Mullen at a tournament. Koi appears in Special When Lit, a documentary about pinball.
------------------------
At 22 minutes in the doc, some news footage is shown of Robin Mihara shortly after returning from the NWC. The controller he is shown using has the D-pad on the right. D-pads are always on the left, the shot is a mirror image.
