The family man Abe Dale is having lunch with his wife and son in a restaurant, when a man kills them in front of Abe and shoots himself in the mouth. A couple of days later, the grieving Abe misses his family and commits suicide ingesting many pills at home, but is rescued by his friend Marty Bloom and saved by the doctors. His Near Death Experience makes him see white light in some people and to hear Electronic Voice Phenomena, i.e., manifestations of voices of ghosts or spirits through static on electronic devices. Soon he discovers that the white light means that the person is going to die, and Abe saves three lives including his nurse Sherry Clarke. While watching a video recorded by his son, Abe finds that the killer had saved the lives of his wife and son three days before the murder. He investigates the incident and finds that when you save, you must kill; otherwise many innocents will die three days later. Written by

Plot Synopsis:
-------------------

After witnessing the murder of his wife and young son at the hands of Henry Caine (Craig Fairbrass) who then turned the gun on himself, Abe Dale (Nathan Fillion) is so distressed that he attempts to take his own life. A near-death experience follows that leaves Abe with the ability to identify those who are about to die. He acts on these premonitions to save three people from death, among them a nurse met during his recovery, Sherry Clarke (Katee Sackhoff). Abe soon learns that Henry, before murdering Abe's wife and son, actually saved their lives. This leads Abe to believe that Henry also had the ability to see death. This makes Abe want to learn more about Henry, so he visits his house only to learn that Henry survived his suicide. Investigating further, Abe discovers that three days after cheating death, those whose lives he saved will be possessed and compelled to take the lives of others. Accepting this responsibility, Abe comes with to terms with the horrible fact that he must consider killing to prevent further tragedy.

I wasn't expecting anything too good but i was pleasantly surprised. This is fast paced, seems fairly believable and was genuinely creepy in places. The acting was pretty good too and you really felt for the characters. There were some nice twists and the film moved along at a nice pace.

I would have absolutely loved this if only it had a better/different ending. To me it just didn't make any real sense for the last few minutes and what sense i could make of it left too many loose ends and unanswered questions.

Still it deserves 8 of out 10 for being a superb film for the most part.

Let me start this off by saying that White Noise 2 is amazing! Far better than its predecessor which, suffered more at its conclusion for having a lazy finale. Nathan Fillion is brilliant as Abe, a man who is revived from death after attempt at suicide over the murder of his family. He now can see a light on people who may die within the minute or the next day. He sets out to be the hero, only to find out that meddling with deaths plan will result in disastrous consequences. This film is visual impressive, well paced for its 97 minutes and is very strong in the drama department, the acting is great and there are no cheesy moments within range. I loved every minute of it and I recommend you see this psychological/thriller/drama.

There are a lot of great things to be said about this movie, but that it deserves a 10 is definitely not one of them. Although the movie was paced well there are many holes in the storyline and in the plot also.

Nathan Fillion and Katie Sackhoff do very good jobs with their characters. As for caring about the characters you really don't get to know them that well aside from Abe.

The end of this movie well lets just say it borders on the cheesy and it left me thinking "what the".

There are many places that you will think "why did you do that" and "that was just mental" because it is in these areas that common sense should prevail, however that is not the case, and can be very frustrating. The movie at times is a little cliche, using cheap tricks to get cheap chills.

I felt i had to comment on this movie because of its 10 star rating when it is far from.

Watch this movie for sure however don't go into it as did expecting the best horror flick of the year and only getting an above average movie.

Definitely don't let the lacklustre effort of the first White Noise film put you off seeing this creepy sequel.

Although the ties to static 'noise' from electrical appliances are stretched somewhat thinly (was this film written as a stand-alone then tied to 'White Noise' later???), this is a nice little horror film with loads of atmosphere and great performances.

Nathan Fillion (Sliver, Serenity) has a good 95% of the screen time and does a great job as a man whose family has been murdered in front of him. There are ghosts a-plenty and some nice 'can't mess with the future' themes - if you like the Final Destination movies, you're gunna love this.

Don't wait for DVD... this film is worth forking out to see at the cinema.

This movie has the potential to be a good horror. However, the typical flashing, grey type ghosts and predictable scares are disappointing. Why Hollywood continues to make high-budget horrors with these effects baffles me? They aim at viewers with weak dispositions rather than real horror fans. Hollywood needs to have a good look at foreign horror films and learn a lesson.

Nathan gives a good performance and in my opinion is the back bone to the entire movie. If they expanded on the dogmatic storyline a little more, it could have been more interesting.

I recommend this movie as a 'no-brainer' horror flick that will leave you fairly satisfied.

Nathan managed to pull off this film, and it's a shame Michael couldn't. You really felt for Nathan's character when his wife and child died, and he made his character believable. A normal man's family dies, and he suddenly starts seeing things. I have to say that Nathan Fillion would not have been my first choice, but after seeing this film last night, a good casting choice was made. I think this movie was everything the first one should have been and more. It was emotional, keeps you entertained, has good scares, and you actually care about the characters and what will happen to them.

Please don't let white noise put you off seeing this sequel. You will regret it if you do. Honestly.

If you're a fan of the horror films that favour 'scares' over 'gore' this film is definitely worth seeing. I've always been partial to scary films, even if means hoovering up the popcorn next day, and White Noise 2 is no exception.

I was on board with Abe right from the start, owing to a superb performance from Nathan Fillion as the husband/father who one moment is enjoying his blissful family life, and the next is thrown into complete shock when he loses them in a fast and apparently meaningless manner.

As the story progresses, Abe attempts suicide at the thought that his family died because he did nothing to save them. After he is brought back from the dead it becomes clear that Abe can now see auras around people who are about to die, and finds a new purpose to his shattered life as he tries to save them, only to discover that there could be darker forces at work.

There are plenty of scary moments, especially when Abe uncovers the truth about the people he's trying to save, and there's a race against time to finish what he's started.

Definitely worth checking out on DVD.

I did not really want to see this film. I don't really like the horror genre much and the early hints were that this film was'nt going to be very good. HOW WRONG Straight away you really care about Abe(Fillion) his performance alone is worth the admission , the emotion he conveys is so genuine it really brings tears to your eyes. He also has great chemistry with Katee Sackoff and their scenes together are a joy to watch. Add to this great convincing stunts, plenty of "oh so thats why that happened"moments and good performances from the supporting players and you have a film worth seeing. I loved it and have already seen it for a second time and its already on my must have on DVD list too.

I admit I went to see this film simply because of Nathan Fillion, but I have to say I wasn't disappointed. He carries the character so well that I actually cried at the end ... and while the 'romance' aspect can only ever be hinted at (he is grieving for his wife and son, after all) it doesn't seem forced.

There is a Firefly/Serenity reference for fans that made me smile, but I won't spoil that! Suffice it to say it is a 'blink and you'll miss it' type of thing, but for those of us who are Browncoats, pretty obvious.

Maybe it does get a little convoluted in the middle, and we have seen the ghostly light and psychic wind before, but I never felt it was too long, and would recommend it to most (non robot) people!

" I See Dead people " :) What happens if you had the power to save people from their deaths , only to find your actions have caused a reaction, a reaction that multiplies in its effects? What if those that you saved were meant to die? There are some slow love scenes that I guess have to be in a film, but other then that the movie is pretty much in constant motion.

Nathan Fillion is a cool actor, his particular acting style is very refreshing, i think any other actor would have made this film into a dodgy 2nd hand horror film. Those that liked 'Serenity' will enjoy this movie.

This is an above average movie with good acting and a decent script.

Great way to spend a night in, just make sure you have a hubby next to you so as you don't get too scared.
