There are 4,000 film festivals around the world. Where would you go if your film was turned down by 3,999 of them?. What happens when an obscure film festival is the last hope for a failing producer and his disaster of a movie? When the artifice and ruthlessness of Hollywood collides with the homespun innocence of small town America, neither will ever be the same. Written by

One of the best Dennis Hopper movie. A Must See comedy. I don't wanna spoil here. Hopper and Bisset's did great acting. Movie is not that long, but its shorter and even more interesting ! Hopper makes you laugh throughout the entire movie. It worth your time and you money.
It's probably more historically important than it is a masterpiece (cause Hopper passed away during the production), but it's still very easy to fall in love with.
One of the best comedies of its era, with a rich inventiveness of character and situation.
Also the Emmy winner director Linda Yellen brought her personal touch in this film.

My wife and I had a chance to view this at the Santa Fe Film Festival. It was a refreshing delight. It was nice to see a small film that was funny and smart, and didn't have to rely on gross out humor or silly special effects.
The ensemble cast was excellent, but Dennis Hopper was excellent, and it's a must see for any of his fans. The challenges of his passing must have taken a toll on the filmmakers, but it is hardly noticeable throughout.
If you get a chance to see this film, do so. It's a great change of pace from today's over-blown Hollywood movies.

The Last Film Festival is a very funny portrayal of a hard-working director, Nick Twain, who only wants his work --good or bad -- to be known and appreciated. His love and passion don't get in the way of his own ego and inner desires, as his insatiable lust can also get the better of him.
Jacqueline Bisset also draws laughs with her imposed Italian accent and diva outbursts. Her relationship with Twain and younger actresses are highlights of the film.
Chris Kattan and Donnell Rawlings play minor roles, but their natural talent and improv help propel the secondary story lines of the film and give The Last Film Festival an added flair.
Dennis Hopper's natural charm and humor shine in this cute indie flick and you'll be humming the little "O-hi" number for hours after the credits roll.
Highly recommend.

Great film with awesome comedy! Loved Hopper and Bisset's chemistry, as well as all the other actor's performances. I wish it was longer, but I read that Dennis Hopper passed away when they were making the movie and they had to stop filming, what a tragedy! Nevertheless, I think this is a great film that will be a part of Hopper's legacy and a hilarious quirky viewing experience for anyone who likes to laugh.
I wanted to show the movie to some friends but by the time we were able to go to the theater together it had already stopped showing :( I wish this amazingly funny movie was out in theaters longer! I would love to be able to see this with a group of people.

Excellent movie! Hilarious Great characters Compelling story Wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised Fitting final movie for Dennis Hopper We'll be out to see it again soon. Wish more movies had this kind of production value I thought the plot devices were clever I'm very happy to recommend this comedy to others. There are over 4,000 film festivals around the world. Where would you go if your film was turned down by 3,999 of them? When an obscure film festival is the last hope for a failing producer (Dennis Hopper) and his "disaster" of a movie collides with the homespun innocence of small town America, neither will ever be the same. Nick will do anything to get his film distributed, including manipulating his dysfunctional cast into attending the festival where Hollywood egos hilariously slam into small town politics.
