Four teenagers on a road trip decide to take a detour and find them selves at at haunted house halloween scream park deep in the woods of southern Kentucky. After witnessing an assortment of torture and gore. they start wondering if what they are experiencing is not a little too realistic. Before they know it each one of them is captured and made part of the horrific attraction they originally thought was all fun and games.

The movie is based on the actual Halloween horror attraction, Talon Falls Scream Park, in Graves County, KY.

At the beginning of the film when they enter the gas station the sign shows "Closed" on the inside meaning the "Open" side is facing out. The owner yells at Lance asking if he saw the closed sign out front. The next shot is from outside showing the "Closed" sign and again from inside now showing "Open" meaning "Closed" is facing out. The owner is then shown flipping the sign from "Open" to "Closed".

Sean is initially hit on the right side of his face however his injury is shown on the left side of his face.

Several times during the film the haunted house workers are shown using radios however no one ever talks on the other end yet they respond as though they have received direction.

While chasing the girls one of the bad guys bumps his ax on a metal bar and the ax blade bends as though it is made of rubber. This is shown from multiple angles.

Near the end when the man with the ax is looking for Lindsay in the pile of bodies, one of the dead bodies moves several times.
