This will be the second PG-13 rated DC animated movie to be based on a retired TV series. This movie was based on Justice League (2001) and Justice League Unlimited (2004). The first movie was Batman and Harley Quinn (2017), which was based on The New Batman Adventures (1997).
------------------------
George Newbern (Superman), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman), and Kevin Conroy (Batman) are the only actors to reprise their roles from Justice League Unlimited (2004).
------------------------
The Fatal Five previously appeared in the DCAU battling the Legion of Super Heroes and Justice League in Justice League Unlimited: Far from Home (2006). The Legion of Super Heroes first appeared in the DCAU, and animation overall, in Superman: New Kids in Town (1998)
------------------------
Mr. Terrific is heavily featured in this movie. The creative team wanted to give him more action after feeling he was cooped up in the Watchtower running the team in the last season of Justice League Unlimited (2004). He is also voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson in this movie instead of Michael Beach who was busy filming Aquaman (2018).
------------------------
The Green Lantern in this movie is Jessica Cruz instead of John Stewart was Green Lantern on Justice League (2001) and Justice League Unlimited (2004). This version of Jessica Cruz will have a form of depression that makes her afraid of most things outside of her house, but is able to temporarily shake it off to wield her power ring.
------------------------
Miss Martian's appearance in this movie marks her first appearance in the DCAU since Young Justice in 2010.
------------------------
Batman tells Mano "Bring it Skeletor " which is a reference to a villain in the He-Man stories.
------------------------
There are no scenes during or after the credits.
